Handmade 2014 at Maria V. Howard Gallery, Imperial Art Center in Rocky Mount, NC.  Mary receives an honorable mention for the “Northern Lights” piece.

Weaving Journal Class. April 8, 15, 23 (Tues.) 4:30 – 7:30.  There are many ways to journal, including weaving.  In this class I will cover basic tapestry techniques and woven collage.  A handmade weaving journal is included in the class materials.  Get started capturing memories in a truly unique journal.  Contact Artspacenc.org to register

Artspace Artist Association Membership.  Mary was juried into the Artspace Artist Association in April, 2013.  She can be found weaving and dyeing new projects in her new Studio #107 at Artspace, 201 E Davie Street, Raleigh, NC.

Artspace Regional Emerging Artist Residency – Continued.  My 2012 residency ended, but I’m STILL AT ARTSPACE through June, 2013.  Come visit me in Studio 217.  Check out new projects growing on the loom or coming alive in the dye-pot.  Look forward to seeing you.

Mary receives a NC United Arts Council 2013 Regional Arts Project Grant.  I applied to get equipment for safe dyeing.  White yarn beware! (12/15/12)
